Hey guys, I just wanted to tell you all that I’m going to be on hiatus for about 2 weeks. I’m going on vacation and am going to have very little, if any, computer access. I’m leaving Sunday, but I will be very busy Saturday. If anyone needs me on Friday, I’ll still be on my personal.
See you all later! <3
“Yes, I was. The hospital went under panic over your absence.”
"Fan-freaking-tastic. And now you’re gone again, so they’re gonna be panicking even more.” Maria wanted to get out of this shithole with CR and back to her friends. Esha, chronic worrier and mother hen that she was, was probably flipping out. Tomoe… how was she doing? With one of their best surgeons and, in Maria’s not-so-humble opinion, best paramedic gone, how would the hospital fare?
“Holy shit! Didn’t expect to see you here, of all people!” The prison guards back home would be freaking once they found that he was gone! CR-S01 wasn’t her favorite person, but he was someone from home. And they did share a little sister… kind of. She had to go find him. There was a hospital and drug store up town that were both very run down, but with a little fixing… They could be treating the residents of this circus! CR’s surgical prowess would be invaluable.
“I didn’t expect to see you either.”
“I’m assuming you were kidnapped here while I was gone?”
"That must have been what happened… Wait, you were here before?" She’d heard something about CR disappearing without a trace from his prison cell before she had gone, but Maria just figured someone had broken him out. They’d done a countrywide search before he just randomly reappeared in his cell. "So that’s why nobody could find you when you ‘escaped’… You never escaped, you were taken here.” There was probably going to be a countrywide search for him again, along with Maria being reported missing. Great.

“I only arrived yesterday evening so I’m afraid I haven’t had much time to explore around. How about yourself? Have you been here long?”
"So you’re brand new, too. I’ve only been around a few days, at most. Still getting used to this place, and all of the people." If some of the inhabitants could be considered people.
“No, it is quite alright. I didn’t expect you to know, you don’t come from there. You have no need to apologise.” He placed his hand on her shoulder trying to comfort her.
Seymour didn’t seem to be too broken up about it. “Okay… So, how long have ya been here?” she asked, wanting to quickly change the subject.
“I’m sorry but Spira is not a person, it’s the world where I lived, before arriving around here. There isn’t anything you can do. Nobody can do anything for it. The people just suffer an endless cycle of death from this thing called Sin.”
He thought it was nice of her to ask but he couldn’t give away too many details about what he wanted to do with Spira.
"Oh… An entire world. Jeez, I’m an idiot," she said, wanting to slam her head into the nearest wall. How insensitive could you get? "I’m really sorry." This was incredibly embarrassing.
He raised his head to make eye contact.
“Oh, such a shame. I thought you could have helped me save Spira.” He muttered “I guess I’ll just have to find Yuna.” under his breath, as for Maria not to hear.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you also, Maria.”
"Who’s Spira? Is she injured or something? I’m a medic, so if anyone needs medical attention, I took an oath to help…" Maria couldn’t help out much if she was anything other than injured, but it was worth offering.
“Whoa… Hi, everyone. Maria Torres, at your service.”
He raised an eyebrow in surprise.
“At my service you say? That could be useful, indeed. Ah, where is my manners. My name is Seymour.”
He gave a slight bow before this Maria Torres.
Gee, this Seymour guy sure was formal. Maria put a hand on her hip. She didn’t serve anybody, thank you very much. Maria was her own woman. “Not literally at your service. It’s a figure of speech. Nice to meetcha, Seymour… I guess.”
"Whoa… Hi, everyone. Maria Torres, at your service."
